Winner of Telly Awards for Best Documentary Series 2024 (Bronze)

“China’s Ultimate Caves” is now airing globally on Discovery Channel. The show investigates a number of enormous underground caves discovered in the Longyou County in the 90s which were carved by men thousands of years ago, for whom and what purpose we do not know. The caves are perfectly chiseled but empty of any artifacts that could help archeologists. We proposed to Warner Bros. Discovery that instead of banging our head against this mystery, the show should have a duo angle - a history/archeological angle with American archeologist Neil Schmid, and a fantastical angle with an artist/rapper J-Fever who would create new myths and legends, using the empty caves as empty canvases. J-Fever created a set of four performances that re-imagines all the possibilities and legends based on our time in Longyou and speaking with locals.
